Pablo Defendini is a general rabble-rouser. He was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He worked in advertising and media production for large and small advertising agencies in the Latin American market before becoming Mass Market Designer for Tor Books in 2006, and in 2008 he made the jump to his current position as the Producer/Showerunner of Tor.com, a science fiction and fantasy group blog and short story venue from Macmillan. He also blogs about the intersection of technology and the publishing industry at The New Sleekness. He is secretly a Cylon.
